Banking

×F.N.B. Corp., a diversified financial services company with headquarters in Naples, announced that John W. Ballantine has joined its board of directors. Ballantine was executive vice president and chief risk management officer at First Chicago NBD Corp. until his retirement in 1998. He is chairman of the financial services group for Glencoe Capital, a private equity firm.

× Christopher Willman was named senior vice president of the loan production office for Bancshares of Florida Inc., the holding company for Bank of Florida Naples, Bank of Florida Fort Lauderdale and Florida Trust Company. Willman previously served as vice president of commercial lending with Gold Bank of Tampa.

Construction

× Dawn Lengel joined the Bradenton NDC Construction Co. as marketing manager. Prior to joining NDC, Lengel served as the public relations and marketing director of Bradenton Christian School and as co-owner of Lengel Groves.

× Kenneth Stokes was named vice president for the Lennar/USHome land development team, responsible for the leadership and management of the company's master planned communities within Sarasota County. Most recently, Stokes held a senior project management position at Wilson Miller Inc. of Sarasota.

× Michael Campbell joined the Lennar/USHome land development team as a senior land development manager, responsible for the leadership and management of the company's master planned communities within Manatee County. Most recently, Campbell held a project management position with Banks Engineering in Sarasota.

Financial

× Sandra Santilli joined the St. Armands Banking Center as banking center manager. Jared Newman joined St. Armands Banking Center as private banking officer. He previously worked for Fifth Third in Naples and Fort Myers.

× Paul Hudson, a new business officer for the Lakewood Ranch and Bradenton areas, was promoted to vice president of Northern Trust Bank of Florida NA

Legal

× R. Scott Collins, a shareholder with the Sarasota-based law firm Williams, Parker, Harrison, Dietz & Getzen PA, was elected chair of the Sarasota County Bar Association Estate Planning and Probate Section. Collins practices in the areas of taxation, estate planning and administration and trust administration.

× C. Kelley Corbridge joined the Sarasota-based law firm of Kirk-Pinkerton as an associate in the Estate and Trust Planning & Administrative department.

Medical

× Physician Dale Lakomy joined Sarasota's Radiation Oncology Centers. He was previously the medical director and an adjunct assistant professor in Radiation Therapy at Duke University's Good Samaritan Medical Center in West Palm Beach.

Organization

× David Sessions, president of Sarasota-based Willis A. Smith Construction Inc., was appointed to the board of directors of the Education Foundation of Sarasota County. The Education Foundation is a nonprofit organization dedicated to improving the area's public schools.
