St. Petersburg sales consulting firm acquired for $7.5 million

Harte Hanks buys InsideOut Solutions, which was founded in 2015 and grew rapidly under the leadership of Chad Nuss and Christina Cherry.

Harte Hanks Inc. (NASDAQ: HHS), a global customer experience company based in Chelmsford, Massachusetts, has acquired InsideOut Solutions LLC, a St. Petersburg-based sales consulting and optimization firm, for $7.5 million.

Founded in 2015 by Chad Nuss, a serial entrepreneur, and his business partner, Christina Cherry, who served as the company’s CEO, InsideOut specializes in inbound and outbound sales outsourcing and experimentation services for clients around the world, including Google, IBM, Paychex, T-Mobile and Autodesk.

"With the acquisition of InsideOut and its inside sales capabilities, Harte Hanks is uniquely positioned to help customers drive growth by optimizing sales and marketing demand generation programs," Harte Hanks CEO Brian Linscott states in the release. "We couldn't be more pleased with this acquisition, and we are excited to welcome the talented InsideOut team to Harte Hanks. The acquisition of InsideOut will not only provide short-term revenue growth opportunities, but also will be immediately accretive to Harte Hanks’ value.”

According to a news release, 136 InsideOut employees have joined the Harte Hanks team, and the company plans to continue to do business at InsideOut’s 7,500-square-foot office in downtown St. Pete.

She adds, “This transaction enables us to scale faster and support further growth for our partners, and to provide additional opportunities for our exceptional team of employees, given Harte Hanks' broader scope of services."
