Zubrick Magic Theatre in downtown St. Petersburg’s Edge District has earned the 2022 TripAdvisor Travelers’ Choice Award, thanks to its No. 1 ranking among all theaters and concerts in the Sunshine City.
Owned and operated by Chris and Ryan Zubrick, the theater is located at 1211 First Ave. N., Suite 101, a former call center that can seat up to 90 guests.
“We’re honored to be recognized by TripAdvisor, and we’re especially grateful to all our patrons who took the time to write positive reviews about their experience,” Chris Zubrick states in a news release.
Ryan adds, “Despite the pandemic, we have been able to perform our exhilarating show to sell-out audiences most weekends.”
The Zubricks, who hail from Michigan, opened the business in July 2021 after returning from a 13-year stint overseas in Saipan and Guam, where they staged more than 7,000 shows. Assisted by Marlana LaCivita, the duo perform their 70-minute magic show Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights, along with an occasional Sunday matinee.
