NAPLES — A Fifth Avenue South Business Improvement District restaurant has re-opened following an extensive renovation of the interior and exterior. Truluck’s, at 698 Fourth Avenue S., has operated since 2004 at its location behind The Inn on 5th. It was the first Florida location of a Truluck’s Restaurant Group establishment.

“As we enter our 15th year in Naples, we committed ourselves to reinvesting in the community we serve,” says David Tripoli, chief operating officer of the group, which is based in Houston and operates in 12 markets including Naples and Miami, in a statement.

Significant changes include a reimagined entryway and new bar lounge. Guests arrive through a new and improved entry featuring rounded glass double doors and portico. The translucent onyx bar top is the focal point of the lounge area, the translucent material lighted from underneath. Other cosmetic changes include updates to flooring, lighting and millwork, the release states.

Stephen Moulton, Truluck’s director of construction, contracted Build LLC of Naples to complete the renovation and Dick Clark & Associates of Austin, Texas, for architectural design.
