Nick Curcuru brings ‘Big Data’ experience at Mastercard to Tampa-based Venuetize.
TAMPA — Venuetize, a technology platform for smart space solutions, has hired Nick Curcuru as senior vice president of analytics and customer engagement, a newly created role that, according to a press release, will take advantage of his experience in data and security, analytics, payments and customer intelligence.
Curcuru, the release states, previously worked at Mastercard as vice president of global big data consulting. Enterprise Management 360 named him the No. 3 data futurist in the world.

Venuetize, the release states, works with professional sports teams, stadiums and arenas, casinos, entertainment districts, and shopping destinations throughout North America. Its platform can create mobile wallets, contextual advertising and information and other applications that improve and innovate the guest experience.
