Media content firm promotes official to new leadership post

Sarah Landman will help drive interest in NewsBank’s newest product.

NAPLES — NewsBank, a media content, information provider and archival firm, recently promoted Sarah Landman to the role of executive vice president for its Philanthropy Services Division.

Landman, according to a statement, will lead the growth of the division’s newest product, Insightful, into the philanthropy market. Insightful, according to the Naples-based company, “is donor centered technology that delivers nonprofits the news that donors and prospects want nonprofits to know to improve philanthropic engagement.”

Landman has been senior vice president of the division since March 2019. “This promotion positions Sarah with greater influence for the next phase of growing our team and expanding our market share,” says Maggie Jones, president of Philanthropy Services at NewsBank, in the release. “I am more than confident that we will be seeing great things to come from Sarah and for Insightful.”

In addition to her role at NewsBank, Landman is a trustee at Saint Mary’s University of Minnesota and on the board of Catholic Charities for the Diocese of Venice. 

NewsBank niche is in being an information provider for public libraries, colleges and universities, schools, military and government libraries and professionals worldwide.
