Manufacturer to consolidate Florida facilities

The consolidation is expected to reduce PGT's annualized operating expense by $3.5 million to $3.8 million.

VENICE — Window and door manufacturer PGT Innovations Inc. will consolidate its Florida manufacturing facilities in a move to optimize operations and reduce fixed costs.

According to a press release, the Venice-based company expects to cease production at its Orlando facility in June, where its WinDoor and Eze-Breeze products are assembled. It plans to relocate the manufacturing of those products to the company’s Venice and Tampa plants, respectively.
