Manatee treetop obstacle course biz branches out

A Manatee County treetop obstacle course business, TreeUmph!, is expanding to Brooksville in Hernando County.

The location, the second for the company, is expected to open in November 2016 and have up to 30 full-and part time jobs, according to a release. Officials with the company project the Brooksville TreeUmph!, spread over 50 acres, will bring 25,000 to 40,000 people a year to the Hernando County area.

“We are thrilled that TreeUmph! Adventure Course is coming to Hernando County,” Hernando County Tourism Bureau tourism development coordinator Tammy Heon says in a release. “The park is the perfect addition to the outdoor adventures that Hernando County offers to both residents and guests.”
