There must be something in the water in Southwest Florida — when it comes to unique, large business and property listings going up for sale.

First, in early February, the owners of Jensen's Twin Palm Cottages and Marina on Captiva Island listed their iconic property. In the heart of Captiva's Village area, the property's features include 35 boat slips; 14 guest residences; more than an acre-sized lot on the Intracoastal waterway; and 170 feet of water frontage. Jeffrey Burns with The Burns Family Team at Premier Sotheby's International Realty has the listing, priced at $19.85 million.

Now comes another luxury listing: Everglades Isle, a Class A motorcoach retreat and resort on the edge of Everglades National Park on the Barron River in east Collier County. The CBRE Manufactured Housing & RV Resorts team — Jeffrey Gage, Richard Jebb, Norman Sangalang and Crawford Follett — have the listing. The listing is unpriced, according to a CBRE buyer's brochure, and due diligence will be provided when a potential buyer signs a confidentiality agreement.

About 40 minutes from downtown Naples, Everglades Isle has 61 motor coach sites available for ownership or rental. The gated community includes a 14,000-square-foot clubhouse, native landscaping, full RV hookups and free cable and Wi-Fi. The property, according to the CBRE statement, is surrounded by a marina with 74 floating concrete boat slips available for ownership or rental.

It also offers star power: Country music stars Larry Strickland and Naomi Judd are among the celebrity guests.

“Everglades Isle was completed shortly after my father's death, fulfilling his dream to redevelop this prime waterfront site located on the Barron River,” says Mark Connolly, owner of Everglades Isle Resort, in the statement. “With the construction finalized, we decided to sell the project to an operator who can bring this asset to full stabilization and complete my father's vision.”
