GDC Properties of Hawthorne, N.Y., has acquired a pair of Bonita Springs hotels flagged by Hilton Hotels Corp. for $33.25 million.

GDC bought the Hampton Inn Bonita Springs and the Homewood Springs by Hilton from affiliates of Wheelock Street Capital, a Greenwich, Conn.-based investment firm, property records show.

Wheelock had spent $17.5 million to acquire both properties in August 2015.

The 106-room Homewood Springs, at 8901 Highland Woods Blvd., brought $17.78 million, while the 92-room Hampton Inn, at 27900 Crown Lake Blvd., fetched $15.46 million.

GDC officials did not respond to telephone calls for comment on its acquisitions, which join an Aloft hotel in Orlando in its portfolio of more than 40 properties, according to its website.

Founded in 1994, GDC’s portfolio contains hotels, office buildings, apartments and retail centers, its website states.
