Bradenton-based breakfast-brunch-lunch chain First Watch will soon open five new locations in Central Florida.
The company recently signed an agreement with FW Florida, Inc. to complete the expansion.
“After experiencing first hand the award-winning menu and customer-focused service philosophy at First Watch, I knew it would be a great concept to add to my portfolio of restaurants,” FW Florida President Joe Cody says in a press release.
The list of cities that will receive new locations includes Gainesville and Ocala. A third market for stores will be in the Villages.
The company has also secured development rights for an additional location in Iowa, according to a release.
First Watch president Ken Pendery expressed confidence in Cody's ability, pointing to his “excellent reputation in the industry as a savvy and successful restaurant operator.”
First Watch serves more than 835,000 customers each month at 80 restaurants in 11 states. The company also recently announced an expansion in Oklahoma.
