MANATEE COUNTY — Construction management firm Firmo Construction has been hired to build Hilton's newest property model, Tru by Hilton, in Bradenton.

The three-story Tru by Hilton will be near Interstate 75 and State Road 70. It will have about 81 rooms. According to a press release, it will showcase Hilton’s newest brand known for its "vibrant and youthful, yet affordable and comfortable quality."

Sarasota-based Firmo Construction will work alongside developer Divine Hospitality, Rick Toenjes from Valley Bank and architect Abhay Pradhan with AP Architecture to bring the new model to fruition, the release states.

Firmo Construction's projects include the expansion of Rosemary Square in downtown Sarasota, the ground-up build of Hampton Inn and Suites by Sarasota Bradenton International Airport and the revitalized Homewood Suites by Hilton.

“The Firmo team is excited to pioneer this new brand and venture for Hilton and bring it to our Gulf Coast region,” says Firmo Construction President Eric Collin in the statement. “Having already completed builds for multiple Hilton models in the area, we’re excited to continue our long-standing partnership with the brand.”
