Country club names new top financial executive

Alan Rudd has nearly 30 years of private club experience.

NAPLES — Alan Rudd, who has overseen financial operations for several country clubs, in Southwest Florida and Illinois, has been named CFO of Wilderness Country Club in Naples.

Rudd is responsible for leading all accounting, financial and control functions for the country club community, including day-to-day finance operations, operating and assessment budgets and capital improvement projects, the release states.

Rudd has nearly 30 years of private club experience, including eight years in Southwest Florida. Most recently, he was CFO for Kensington Golf & Country Club in North Naples, the release states. Prior to that, he was CFO for Green Acres Country Club in Northbrook, Ill. He also previously served in various finance roles with Glen View Club in Golf, Ill.; Kansas City Country Club in Mission Hills, Kan.; and Brynwood Country Club in Milwaukee.

Located on 200 forested acres on the east side of Goodlette-Frank Road, just north of Golden Gate Parkway, Wilderness Country Club, member owned and controlled from its inception, features a series of low-profile buildings around an 18-hole, Arthur Hill-designed golf course. It also has a main clubhouse, driving range, short-game area, putting green and four Har-Tru tennis courts.
