BONITA SPRINGS — WCI Communities plans to start construction next month on some of the 150 lots it acquired recently in the Rosedale community in Bradenton.
The Bonita Springs-based developer and homebuilder acquired 150 lots in Rosedale, including 93 from Newton Developments and 57 from M/I Homes. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
“The community is well-established and has an extensive collection of amenities already in place, including a championship golf course,” says David Ivin, president of WCI's north region, in a statement. “Its central location is a real bonus for residents, and there are no community development district fees.”
Rosedale is a master-planned golf course community located off State Road 70 near Interstate 75 in Bradenton.
WCI did not disclose home prices at Rosedale, but in a statement it says it will offer five single-story floor plans with two and three bedrooms in 1,849 to 2,506 square feet of living space. Three exterior elevations are available for the homes, which include large owner's suites, attached two-car garages and screened lanais.
