TAMPA — The Bank of Tampa has announced plans to expand to Manatee County, where it will open a new banking office in Lakewood Ranch.

According to a news release, the 4,200-square-foot branch — the bank’s 13th in the Tampa Bay region — will be located at 10650 Boardwalk Loop and is set to open in the fall. It will be managed by veteran Lakewood Ranch and Manatee County banker Bryan Boudreaux.

“Since joining The Bank of Tampa team in 2018, Bryan has made tremendous progress growing business and expanding The Bank of Tampa’s brand of banking in the Lakewood Ranch and Manatee County markets,” states Charlie Murphy, The Bank of Tampa’s Sarasota and Manatee County market president. “Back when The Bank of Tampa first expanded its presence to the Sarasota market in 2018, we knew that we wanted to expand our reach to Lakewood Ranch and Manatee County. We found the right individual in Bryan first, and now we have found the right location — we are excited to continue our investment in this market.”

Susan Goldstein of MSC Commercial, the commercial division of real estate brokerage Michael Saunders & Co., represented The Bank of Tampa in its lease of the property. Landlord LWR Main Street LLC was represented by Amanda Zipperer of Lakewood Ranch Commercial.

“The Bank of Tampa found a location that met their requirements and allows them to make a strong statement and commitment to the market,” Goldstein states in the release. “I am pleased to be a part of their process. The standalone building, an outparcel of Lakewood Ranch Main Street, anchors the center and provides the bank with visibility to Lakewood Ranch Boulevard and easy access for its customers.”
