Architects join forces, build new firm

CAPE CORAL — A pair of longtime architects who have designed several high-profile projects in the region have merged their companies.

The new company, Cape Coral-based Castellanos + Tramonte Architects, is a regional architectural firm specializing in commercial design, according to a statement. Art Castellanos, with more than 25 years of experience in architecture, is president, and Jason Tramonte, with a 37-year career in architecture, is the founder and project manager. The firm has five employees, the release adds.

Together, the team has designed more than 150 buildings statewide, including fire stations, shopping centers, government buildings, restaurants, 7-Elevens and more.
