Clearwater buyer picks up Lee County commercial property

A Clearwater investor has bought a 1.46-acre parcel in Cape Coral.

The buyer, R Cape Coral LLC, paid $950,000 for the property at 1128-1206 Del Prado Blvd. S. It is just north of Southeast 12th Terrace and south of Viscaya Parkway.

The seller is Fort Myers based LJK Holdings, which Lee County property records show bought the property in 2004 for $724,800.

According to its profile on the commercial real estate website Crexi, the land is commercially zoned with utilities available and has 240 feet of frontage on Del Prado Boulevard. It sits across the street from several restaurants and a CVS Pharmacy.

NAI Burns Scalo, the commercial brokerage, says the Clearwater buyer is part of a development group that plans to redevelop the site, but that no specific plans have been announced. The LLC’s address is an office building on Belcher Road in Clearwater.
