A Tampa digital marketing agency has been named one of the nation’s top 100 small businesses by the U.S. Chamber of Commerce.

Digital Neighbor was selected for the 2026 CO — 100, an annual list by the The chamber and the CO, the chamber’s digital platform for small-business owners that recognizes small businesses for their growth, innovation and relationships with customers. Companies were selected from more than 12,000 applicants nationwide, according to the chamber.

Founded in Tampa in 2016, Digital Neighbor develops online marketing strategies for businesses in the Tampa Bay area and across the country. Its services include search engine optimization, paid advertising, content marketing, website development and data analysis, according to its website.

Led by founder and president Eric Ritter, Digital Neighbor describes its culture as inspired by the neighborly philosophy of children’s television host Fred Rogers. Ritter also teaches digital media as an adjunct professor at the University of South Florida’s Zimmerman School of Advertising and Mass Communications.

According to Digital Neighbor, the company’s clients average a 150% increase in organic website traffic after working with them and the agency has a 97% long-term client retention rate.

A panel of judges evaluated applicants for the CO — 100 program based on their business growth, strategies and commitment to customers, according to the chamber. Digital Neighbor was the only company accepted to the program from the Business Observer’s coverage area.

Together, the 100 selected companies generate more than $340 million in annual revenue and employ more than 2,500 people, according to the release. The businesses represent 36 states and Washington, D.C., and span 15 industries.

Each honoree will receive a one-year paid membership to the U.S. Chamber, along with national publicity and access to networking and educational programs.

Digital Neighbor and other winners are scheduled to attend a series of events at the chamber’s Washington headquarters from Oct. 19 through Oct. 21. Ten companies will receive $2,000 awards for achievements in individual categories, and one will be named the CO — 100 Top Business of the Year and receive $25,000.
