A newly constructed Gulf-front estate in Naples has changed hands for $71 million in an off-market sale.
The home is at 2050 Gordon Drive, within the gated Gordon Drive Estates community. Construction was just completed this year on the seven-bedroom estate, which has seven full and two half-baths as well as a six-car garage. Additional highlights are a guest suite, elevator, European oak flooring and custom mahogany doors, according to a statement. On 1.58 acres, the property — which Scott Lawson, CEO of water company Culligan, bought in 2022 — features 150 feet of direct Gulf frontage.
The sale, according to the CEO of the company that listed the property, Budge Huskey with Premier Sotheby’s International Realty, is another step for Naples on its way to matching some uber-luxury markets on Florida's east coast.
“As market observers, for years we espoused the many virtues of Naples … while also noting it can’t command the prices seen in east coast markets such as Palm Beach and Miami,” Huskey says in the statement. “That is no longer the case, and we now must acknowledge there are no limits.”

Two Naples-based companies — Stofft Cooney Architects and Equinox Construction Group — designed and built the residence, which spans more than 9,500 square feet of air-conditioned space and over 21,400 total square feet. Outside, a heated pool and spa overlook the Gulf, complemented by motorized screens and shutters.
The property was owned by 2050 Gordon Drive Land Trust, according to Collier County property records, which list Scott Gibbs Clawson, the Culligan CEO, as the owner. He purchased the land for $29.99 million in 2022, records show. Collier County property records have not yet been updated to reflect the buyer.
While years ago a sale over $60 million in Naples would have been record-setting, that is not the case today. In 2026 alone, this is at least the third home sale over $62 million in Naples. In June, 2100 Gordon Drive sold for $86 million, according to Collier County property records. And in September, the home at 20 14th Ave. S. sold for $62.5 million.
Paul Arpin, Pete Reppucci and Michael Giacalone of Premier Sotheby’s International Realty’s Broad Avenue office represented 2050 Gordon Drive in the recent sale. Arpin also handled a $62.5 million deal for a home at 25 16th Ave. S. in Naples in 2022, which at the time was record-setting.
“We are witnessing a new era of luxury real estate in Naples, where sales above $60 million happen more than once a year,” Arpin says in a statement. “As is the case with ultra luxury buyers and sellers, transactions of this magnitude often happen quietly. The ability to connect the right parties privately becomes particularly important when you are dealing with properties that are not broadly available and buyers who value discretion.”
