Budget airline Breeze Airways is adding three nonstop routes out of Southwest Florida International Airport in Fort Myers this week, expanding connections to the Midwest and New Jersey.

The airline launched service between Fort Myers and Atlantic City Oct. 22, according to the Lee County Port Authority. Flights to Dayton, Ohio, are scheduled to begin Oct. 23, following the Oct. 21 launch of service to Madison, Wisconsin.

The routes will operate on the following schedules:

  • Atlantic City: Tuesdays, Thursdays and Sundays.
  • Dayton: Mondays and Fridays.
  • Madison: Wednesdays and Saturdays.

The Madison route is seasonal, according to Breeze’s announcement of the service. That announcement also included another addition for Fort Myers: nonstop flights to Trenton, New Jersey, scheduled to begin Jan. 8, 2027, and operating Mondays and Fridays. Tickets are already available on the airline’s website and through its apps.

The expansion comes after a record year for the Fort Myers airport. RSW handled approximately 11.15 million passengers in 2025, up 1.1% from the previous record set in 2024, according to the port authority. The Fort Myers airport ranks among the country’s 50 busiest airports for passenger traffic.

Breeze operates more than 300 year-round and seasonal routes to 95 cities in the U.S., Mexico, Central America and the Caribbean.
