A Lee County manufacturer of modular data centers — with a rapidly-growing parent company expecting to hit $450 million in revenue this year, up more than 3,800% — is moving its headquarters a bit north but remaining in Southwest Florida.

Northstar Enterprise + Defense, which creates modular data centers for enterprise, telecom and U.S. defense clients that can be deployed in as little as 90 days, says it is moving from Bonita Springs to Fort Myers as it expands to meet the growing demand for its products.

The new headquarters, according to a statement, will be in a 153,000-square-foot production campus on Alico Road. It is nearly 265% larger than the company’s current Bonita Springs manufacturing operation, which remains open.

The parent company, Northstar Technologies Group Inc., will remain based in Bonita Springs. Founded in 2020, Northstar Technologies Group is projecting $450 million in revenue for 2026, up from $11.5 million in 2025. That is a 3,813% increase. Committed sales are expected to reach $1.3 billion this year, according to the statement, which says the company employs more than 100 people with plans to continue hiring to support its growth.

“Today’s data center demands require a different approach to how infrastructure is designed, built and deployed,” Northstar Technologies Group Paul Inglese says in the statement.

Northstar Enterprise + Defense builds modular data centers using a fiber-reinforced polymer composite created from U.S.-made recyclable glass, the release states. The centers are 30% lighter than aluminum structures, meaning they can be placed on rooftops and sites without prepared foundations. Its products include hurricane- and tornado-rated enclosures with advanced insulation and thermal performance that are corrosion-resistant and low-maintenance.

“The record growth we’re experiencing reflects the value customers place on this flexibility, high performance and efficiency," Inglese says in the statement, "and our new headquarters will enable us to meet the industry’s growing demand.”

The new headquarters is one piece of the expansion strategy for Northstar Enterprise + Defense. It is also evaluating another similarly-sized facility in the same Fort Myers industrial park that the company could acquire by the end of the year. It is evaluating further expansion in Texas and the Northeast, including in Atlantic City, New Jersey, over the next year.
