A pair of Florida luxury RV dealers are merging in a deal that includes a $60 million infusion to support growth.
The dealerships are The Motorcoach Store, based in Bradenton, and Millennium Luxury Coaches, based in Sandford. The combined stores are expected to reach $200 million in combined sales by 2027.
A spokesperson says in an email that “the deal is not really a purchase, but rather a unification of the two companies.”
As part of “the unification,” Millennium will continue to operate in Sanford and its founder and president Nelson Figueroa will join The Motorcoach Store’s board of directors.
According to a statement, both locations will remain operational, with Millennium leveraging the Bradenton dealer’s resources, financing and national reach. “This is expansion, not consolidation cuts,” the statement says.
Underpinning the deal is the $60 million, which the spokesperson says “relates to new financing facilities and equity infusion that will support the future growth and advancement of the combined companies.”
The Motorcoach Store operates at 5821 24th St. E. in a facility it bought in 2023 for $18.3 million and fully converted.
Shortly after the purchase, company owner Bradley Twait said in an interview with the Business Observer that the property was “designed exactly the way that I dreamt of finding for my facility since the inception of my dealership 13 years ago.
“The layout, the size, the building. Everything was just perfect for what I'm looking to do.”
Twait echoed the sentiment when speaking of Millennium, saying in the statement that "we looked at who we wanted beside us as we scale toward the future, Millennium wasn't just the obvious choice; it was the only choice.”
