Sarasota-based Helios Technologies has released a new app through its subsidiaries designed for the off-road community.
Called No Roads, the app was developed by Enovation Controls and i3 Product Development, both Helios Technologies companies. The software features trail mapping, live friend tracking and crowd-sourced reporting capabilities.
“We saw a clear gap in the market for a more intelligent and reliable off-road experience,” Helios CEO, President and CFO Sean Bagan says in a statement. “By bringing together the strengths of Enovation Controls and i3 Product Development, we’ve created a solution that not only meets the needs of today’s off-road enthusiasts but also showcases the kind of forward-thinking innovation that defines Helios.”
The app was unveiled at Overland Expo West, a conference for land adventurers that was held over the weekend in Flagstaff, Arizona. Attendees were able to meet the team behind No Roads and see the app in action, according to a statement.
While the app was designed for the off-road market, officials say that it was created with scalability in mind and could be applied in adjacent markets such as marine and other places where remote-ready mapping and navigation are needed.
“No Roads is a powerful example of what happens when we blend rugged, embedded electronics with smart, connected software,” Helios Senior Vice President and Managing Director of the Electronics Segment Billy Aldridge says in the statement. “We’re excited about what this means not just for recreational adventurers, but for the future of embedded systems across multiple markets.”
Helios Technologies, which focuses on highly engineered motion control and electronic controls technology, posted $805.9 million in revenue in 2024. Its electronics segment did $268.7 million in total sales last year.
