Fans of the Bradenton Marauders and Fort Myers Mighty Mussels will notice a new name at both ballparks: Entech, which is a Fort Myers-based provider of business IT solutions. The company, which also has offices in Bradenton, Naples and Sarasota, has signed on to sponsor the two Minor League Baseball teams.
As a local business, Entech believes in investing in its community, according to a statement.
“Entech is excited to partner with two outstanding organizations that share our values of teamwork, excellence and community engagement,” Entech CEO Jake Spanberger says in the statement. “We look forward to cheering on the Marauders and the Mighty Mussels, and to working together to make a positive impact both on and off the field.”
Entech did not immediately disclose how much it invested in the sponsorship. In a statement, the company says that its partnership will lead to fan enhancements such as special events and promotions throughout the 2025 Minor League Baseball season.
"Entech’s presence will be felt both on and off the field, as the company supports the teams’ extensive community outreach, youth engagement and charitable initiatives," the company says in the statement.
The Bradenton Marauders are the Single-A affiliate of the Pittsburgh Pirates who play at LECOM Park in Bradenton. The Fort Myers Mighty Mussels are the Low-A affiliate of the Minnesota Twins whose home is at Hammond Stadium in Fort Myers.
