OrderlyMeds, an Atlanta-based medical weight loss company, announced Tuesday its plans to expand to Tampa.

The company will begin leasing a 50,000-square-foot space at 6463 Falkenburg Road in August that will double as manufacturing and office space. It plans to hire pharmacists, pharmacy technicians and executive and operations roles that are expected to add up to roughly 100 jobs.

“Choosing Tampa felt like a natural fit due to the strong healthcare ecosystem and its position as a growing hub for healthcare innovation,” says Chris Spears, CEO and founder of OrderlyMeds in a statement. “Our investment in this compounding pharmacy will eventually create hundreds of new jobs, support the local community, and serve our growing customer community while driving our next phase of growth."

Tampa Bay EDC is currently shepherding OrderlyMed’s transition with multiple site visits and networking opportunities with local partners. The organization says Tampa MSA's health care and life sciences industry is projected to see a growth rate of more than 6% over the next five years.

OrderlyMeds, which works with customers to reach fitness goals through consultation, nutrition and access to GLP-1 medication, was founded in 2023 and emphasizes fully personalized health and fitness solutions through its telehealth platform.
