Daytime dining concept First Watch is planning its first restaurant in Boston. Set to open in late 2025, the location will follow the company's January debut in New England with a restaurant in Hanover, Massachusetts.

The Boston breakfast, brunch and lunch restaurant will be at 777 Boylston St. in the city's iconic Back Bay neighborhood.

“This high-profile location in the heart of Boston is a major milestone as we continue our growth in New England and beyond,” First Watch CEO and President Chris Tomasso says in a statement. It will also create 30 jobs, the company says in a statement.

The Boston restaurant is part of the East Manatee County-based company's expansion plan. First Watch operates more than 570 restaurants and aims to grow to 2,200 restaurants at a rate of 10% each year. Last year, it opened 50 new restaurants, and the company plans to open 59 to 64 new locations in 2025.

“We’re grateful for the warm welcome we received for our first Massachusetts location earlier this year and look forward to bringing First Watch’s innovative menu and signature hospitality to the Back Bay," Tomasso says.

With its entry into Massachusetts in January, First Watch is now in 30 states. The company posted more than $1 billion in revenue in 2024.
