More than 47,000 square feet of space has been leased at a Clearwater industrial park.

The space was taken by two companies — Gt Express Enterprises and White Cap — at the 83-acre, 219,000-square-foot Sunshine Industrial Park at 5303 126th Ave. N. near St. Pete-Clearwater International Airport.

Gt Express is expected to move by the end of 2023, says a spokesperson for the Tampa commercial real estate firm Franklin Street. White Cap will be relocating early next year.

Franklin Street, which announced the leases, represented Zenith Industrial Outdoor Storage, the New York landlord.

Trailer manufacturer Gt Express is taking a 26,940-square-foot building with 1 acre of outdoor storage. It will use the site as a hub to consolidate its area operations into a single location and “streamline the company’s manufacturing and shipping processes and enhance overall efficiency,” Franklin Street says in the statement.

As for White Cap, the Georgia company is leasing a 20,000-square-foot indoor space and 1.5 acres of outdoor storage space. The company, a vendor of construction tools, materials and supplies for professional contractors, will have better access to transportation network at the park, the real estate firm says.

Lease terms were not disclosed.

Zenith bought the property last year for $27.5 million.
