Tampa-based ReliaQuest, a cybersecurity operations company, says that Paul Shoukry, CFO of Raymond James Financial, will join its board of directors.
"Cybersecurity represents the greatest technical challenge of our generation," says Brian Murphy, ReliaQuest founder and CEO. "Paul brings significant operational and financial management experience in a growth-oriented company and also understands the unique needs within the financial services domain."
As CFO at Raymond James, one of the largest public financial firms in the U.S., Shoukry is responsible for the overall financial management of the company, including balance sheet management, financial reporting, investor relations, corporate development, corporate tax, cash management, regulatory reporting, and financial planning and analysis, according to ReliaQuest officials.
Shoukry is a member of Raymond James' executive committee. He serves on the boards of subsidiaries of Raymond James and Associates and TriState Capital Bank.
"ReliaQuest’s trajectory is truly remarkable, built upon a strong foundation of always putting customers first and providing leading cybersecurity solutions," says Shoukry. "I’m looking forward to joining the team to help drive the company’s continued growth and global leadership."
ReliaQuest says its security operations platform, GreyMatter, automates detection, investigation and response across cloud, endpoint, and on-premise tools and applications. GreyMatter can be delivered as a service any time of the day, anywhere in the world, the company says.
ReliaQuest says it has more than 700 customers worldwide and 1,000 employees working across six global operating centers.
