A Sarasota-based real estate company has added 10 years of leadership experience to its team with the newest leadership addition.

Chanté Blough was named the new chief marketing officer at Michael Saunders & Co., where she will lead the company’s marketing division, supporting over 600 sales associates across 17 offices. Michael Saunders, founder and CEO, says Blough is a strong addition to the team in a press release.

“Not only does she have a strong background across all facets of marketing,” Saunders says, “she also embodies our company values and commitment to delivering exceptional service to our agents and customers.”

In her new position, Blough will oversee marketing, digital and public relations strategies and increase the company’s brand awareness.

Previously, Blough worked for national real estate firm Compass filling several leadership roles. Most recently, she was the head of marketing for the customer service department. Prior to that, Blough worked as head of merchandising and planning for Groupon.

While working as a senior manager of partnerships and operations for Ideel, a fashion site Groupon acquired, Blough oversaw partnerships with well-known magazines including Glamour, InStyle and Bon Appétit.

“I’m excited to be part of a company that is highly respected throughout the global real estate industry and has maintained a high level of excellence for decades, while also allowing for forward-thinking initiatives,” Blough says in the release. “I am looking forward to contributing to its legacy.”
