A new medical practice has leased 14,139 square feet of space in Naples, the largest new office lease in Collier County this year.

The practice, Meliora Healthcare, is taking the second floor at one of the two buildings at Commons Professional Park. The park is at 708 Goodlette-Frank Road N.

A spokesperson for the commercial real estate firm Colliers, which handled the leasing, says the distinction of the largest lease in the county is based on information from the commercial real estate research firm CoStar.

Terms of the lease were not disclosed

Meliora Healthcare was started by three local doctors — Vishal Patel, Vinay Patel and Mazen Albeldawi — as a multi-specialty practice that “provides personalized care with cutting-edge medical expertise to empower patients in achieving optimal health and holistic well-being.”

Vishal Patel says in a statement that Meliora chose the building in part because of its proximity to other practices and local hospitals. This, he says, allows the practice to reach patients in Naples as well as north and east of the city and Marco Island.

The practice, through Colliers’ spokesperson, said it would “prefer not to discuss details of the lease or number of employees as we are not at full capacity right now.”

The park’s owners, Om Holdings 704 & 708, bought the two-building, 90,000-square-foot property last year. At the time, one of the buildings was fully leased by a single tenant that subsequently moved out.

With Meliora, the property is now 88% leased with three full floors filled.
