A Texas pool company has leased a 28,098-square-foot building in Fort Myers.

Heritage Pool Supply Group will use the space at 11975 Amedicus Lane primarily as a commercial distribution facility.

According to a statement, this will be Heritage’s ninth location in the state. That includes one each in Naples and Fort Myers.

Heritage is a division of McKinley, Texas-based wholesale distributor SRS Distribution.

The pool company’s growth model is based on forming a network of independent distributors. To that end, in 2021 it bought AquaCentral a company created through a series of mergers that included Florida Water Products, Pool & Electrical Products, American Pool Supply, Bel-Aqua Pool Supply, Conely Company, Mayfield Pool Supply, Classic Pool Tile and Noble Tile Supply.

Heritage currently operates 17 brands with a total of more than 100 locations in 29 states.

As for the new facility, it sits on two acres west of Metro Parkway and north of Crystal Drive, according to Loopnet. It has seven grade level doors and 24-foot peak height. It was built in 2001.

The agreement was announced by Mayhugh Commercial Advisors, which represented the property owner.
