On June 2, St. Petersburg-based 3 Daughters Brewing will open a new location at St. Pete-Clearwater International Airport — also known as PIE, its airport code — for departing travelers in the post-security passenger area of Gates 2-6.
The restaurant and bar, according to a news release, will be operated by SSP America and will feature 3 Daughters’ signature craft beers, wine, liquor, non-alcoholic beverages and food items, including Beach Blonde Ale barbecue wings, barbecue pork sandwich and pretzels with beer cheese sauce.
“3 Daughters Brewing created a great local gathering place in St. Petersburg, growing its craft brewing business and evolving as a restaurant and family friendly hangout,” St. Pete-Clearwater International Airport Director Tom Jewsbury states in the release. “Bringing this popular concept to PIE is an important part of developing a welcoming and thriving airport and destination. We are thrilled to welcome 3 Daughters Brewing to the PIE family in time for the busy summer season.”
Owned and operated by Mike and Leigh Harting, 3 Daughters Brewing is one of St. Pete’s original craft breweries. The airport location, the release states, is one of its first satellite locations. The brewery recently created a new Florida Orange IPA that will be featured on Allegiant Air flights.
“Having a branded 3 Daughters Brewing bar at PIE means travelers can start their trip with one of the most popular local craft beer, cider or seltzers,” 3 Daughters Brewing VP of Sales and Marketing Brian Horne states in the release. “It also means they can get one last ‘taste of Florida’ before they depart our region. We’re very proud to bring our family-run brewery to the airport and look forward to serving PIE travelers for many years to come.”
