Pennsylvania company acquires local window, door installer

Twenty-eight StormFitters employees will join West Shore Home’s Tampa office.

West Shore Home, a home remodeling company headquartered in Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania, has acquired St. Petersburg-based StormFitters, an installer of doors, windows and storm shutters.

According to a news release, 28 StormFitters employees will transition to West Shore Homes’ Tampa office. Other terms of the deal, including acquisition cost, were not disclosed.

"We are thrilled to welcome StormFitters to the West Shore Home team," West Shore Home President and CEO B.J. Werzyn states in the release. "They have been an established presence in the Tampa-St. Petersburg area for decades, and we are proud we can now serve their customers with the fastest, most convenient home-remodeling services in the market."

In addition to Florida, West Shore Home, founded in 2006, operates in Alabama, Arizona, Colorado, Georgia, Indiana, Kentucky, Maryland, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, Utah and Virginia.
