PGT Innovations is moving up in the ranks.
After making Forbes’ list of Best Small-Cap Companies for the second year in a row, Venice-based impact resistant window and door manufacturer PGT Innovations improved its ranking to No. 79. Last year, it was listed at No. 87. Additionally, PGT was one of two corporations from Florida to make the list.
“This recognition is a true testament to our dedicated team of talented professionals who drive our business forward on a daily basis,” says Jeff Jackson, president and CEO of PGT Innovations, in a news release.
The list was determined based on the collection of data from FactSet. Forbes screened over 1,000 companies that all had a market value between $300 million and $2 billion. The data reflected 509 of those companies had positive sales growth over the past year, with a share price of at least $5.
Forbes’ top 100 companies were based on earnings growth, sales growth, return on equity and total stock return for the most recent 12 months available, as well as over the last five years.
PGT Innovations was one of only nine on construction firms on the list. The company's brands include CGI, PGT Custom Windows and Doors, WinDoor, Western Window Systems, Anlin Windows & Doors, Eze-Breeze, CGI Commercial, NewSouth Window Solutions and a 75% ownership stake in Eco Window Systems.
