Firm promotes two attorneys to shareholder role

One new partner has tax experience, while the other focuses on real estate.

NAPLES — Grant Fridkin Pearson P.A., a Naples-based full-service law firm serving the Southwest Florida community since 1995, recently promoted a pair of attorneys to shareholder: Marcie Charles, who is in the firm’s trusts and estates planning and administration practice group, and Alexandra Gabel, a member of the firm’s business and real estate transactions practice group.

Charles joined the firm in 2019, according to a statement, and has practiced law in Southwest Florida since 2014. She focuses her practice in the areas of estate planning, estate and trust administration, business succession and tax planning and has represented clients before the IRS. She also has extensive experience in corporate tax planning, having served as an attorney advisor with the IRS Office of Associate Chief Counsel (Corporate) in Washington, D.C. and advisor to Fortune 500 companies when she worked in two Big Four public accounting firms.

Gabel joined the firm in 2016 and has practiced in Naples since 2012. Her practice includes commercial and residential real estate transactions, including financing and leasing, business acquisitions, sales and disputes and business formations. She also has experience with securities transactions and private offerings.
