FORT MYERS — Seagate Development Group named Brian Sarabacha director of residential purchasing.

Sarabacha will manage the residential purchasing process for the Fort Myers-based firm through turnover, including negotiating contracts, sourcing new suppliers and establishing and maintaining relationships with vendors, according to a statement. He will also prepare bid specifications, create new pricing policies and manage inventory, the release adds.

A 13-year industry veteran, Sarabacha started his career with 84 Lumber as an inside salesman and worked his way up to co-branch manager. He later held a purchasing manager position with American Builders Supply, the release states, “where he significantly increased profitability as well as lowered excessive and obsolete inventory.” Prior to joining Seagate, Sarabacha was named assistant purchasing manager at Toll Brothers.

“Brian will improve our cost effectiveness and purchasing efficiencies, allowing us to not only keep up with our current growth but excel as we embark on new residential projects and communities,” Seagate Partner and COO James Nulf says in the release.

Seagate Development Group is a full-service development company specializing in a design-build process via new construction, custom renovations, interior design and management and leasing services.
