Cameron Mitchell Restaurants LLC has kicked off the hiring phase for The Pearl, its new restaurant that will be part of the Water Street Tampa mixed-use development.

According to a news release, interviews will be held 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday and 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday. The restaurant seeks to hire hourly workers such as line cooks, servers and bartenders.

Interviews, the release states, will be conducted by General Manager Alex Schultz and Executive Chef Olivia Giesler. A hiring office has been set up at Industrious, a coworking space located at 615 Channelside Drive, Suite 207, in Tampa. Applications can be submitted online

“We truly believe that growth and success of our restaurants are the results of our ‘associate first’ culture and philosophy that’s deeply embedded in every level of Cameron Mitchell Restaurants,” Schultz states in the release. “Hiring the right associates is crucial for The Pearl in delivering the most outstanding dining experience and genuine hospitality, so we encourage everyone interested in joining our team to visit our hiring office.”

Cameron Mitchell Restaurants also operates Ocean Prime, a steak and seafood restaurant at the International Plaza shopping center in Tampa’s Westshore neighborhood. The restaurant group opened its first The Pearl in Columbus, Ohio, in 2012, followed by a second iteration in Dublin, Ohio, in 2020.
