Epic Health and Fitness, a franchise fitness chain headquartered in Spring Hill, has secured a location for its third gym in the Tampa Bay region, in Brooksville.

In addition to Spring Hill, the company has a franchise in Weeki Wachee.

According to a news release, the Brooksville Epic Health and Fitness franchise will be the chain’s largest, at 15,000 square feet. Co-founders Ryan and Kelly Unger say the additional square footage will help them offer more equipment options, in addition to providing space to health-and-wellness-focused vendors.

“We are extremely excited to launch the Brooksville location and to expand our mission to the east Hernando County area,” Kelly Unger states in the release. “This is the first of many upcoming new location announcements.”

Epic Health and Fitness, the release states, has plans in the works for three additional franchise locations in the Tampa Bay region.
