TAMPA — OneDigital, a national insurance brokerage and financial services and HR consulting firm, has acquired Tampa-based GCD Insurance Consultants, expanding the Atlanta firm’s footprint throughout the Southeast.

GCD, according to a news release, is an independent, owner-operated agency offering customized employee benefits, human resources and payroll administration solutions to organizations of varying sizes and industries. Some 20 GCD team members and about 200 customers will transition to OneDigital as part of the deal, while the firm’s three principals — Steve Gionis, Rich Caulley and Josh Dillinger — will join OneDigital in leadership roles.

Other terms of the deal were not disclosed in the release.

"We are excited to welcome GCD to OneDigital Florida,” OneDigital Senior Managing Partner Bruce Goin states in the release. “Rich, Josh and Steve each have a broad range of expertise that complements OneDigital’s business model to join health and benefits, retirement and wealth and workforce and HR into a singular platform.”

OneDigital, the release states, works with more than 85,000 employers nationwide and has 2,400 insurance advisors on staff.

"GCD’s alignment with OneDigital represents the next step in our legacy to elevate how we continue to meet the needs of our clients,” Gionis states in the release. “Rich, Josh and I believe that as a part of OneDigital, we’re collaborating with some of the most experienced minds in the industry to deliver holistic strategies that empower our clients and their businesses.”
