SARASOTA — A luxury apartment community surpassed the 60% leased mark just 90 days after pre-leasing began.
Citria at Fruitville Commons in Sarasota features a total of 300 apartments in four 4-story buildings. The complex is part of Stock Development’s Luxury Apartment Living division.
“Pre-leasing at Citria began in mid-May and now, just 90 days later, has hit the 60 percent mark,” says Keith Gelder, president of Stock Luxury Apartment Living, in a press release. “180 leases in 90 days for a new lease-up in this market is unprecedented. It is a testament to the quality of the project and desirable location at Fruitville Commons.”
Citria, located at the northeast corner of 1-75 and Fruitville Road, is a gated, pet friendly community with one, two and three-bedroom apartments available.
The apartments feature 9-foot, 4-inch ceilings, contemporary wood-style floorings, chef-inspired kitchens, spacious walk-in closets, balconies and patios, high-speed internet over fiber-optic technology, living room and bedroom ceiling fans and USB charging ports, according to the release.
Fruitville Commons is a new lifestyle community in Sarasota that offers 42-acres of apartment residences, shopping, dining, hotels and medical office space.
“It truly is the best place to live, work, and play in Sarasota with everything just a short walk from door to door,” says Gelder.
Citria will offer residents amenities, including a two-story, 12,000 square foot clubhouse with a resort-style oasis pool and expansive sun deck, entertaining lounge and cabanas, grill stations and a fire lounge area. The community also has a fitness center that overlooks the pool deck.
“We are on track to deliver the clubhouse in the next 30 days,” says Gelder. “We are excited to be able to provide our tenants with a vast array of first class amenities to enjoy.”
The pet-friendly community will also feature two dog parks, a convenient dog wash area and water fountain. Both parks will also include agility equipment for dogs of all sizes.
The monthly rental prices in Citria start from the mid-$1,600. Citria is one of five communities Stock Luxury Apartment Living is currently developing throughout the west coast of Florida.
