SARASOTA — The Clive Daniel Home is adding a third location in Sarasota within Fruitville Commons, a mixed-used development at Interstate 75 and Fruitville Road.
The luxury home furnishings and custom residential and commercial interior design services company is adding the 65,000-square-foot showroom to offer contemporary, traditional and casual designs. The addition will provide more than 50 new jobs for the area, according to a statement.
“Launching this new location in Sarasota is very much so a homecoming for us,” Daniel Lubner, president and CEO of Clive Daniel Home, says in the press release. “I started my career here and it’s been my goal to move back.”
The new location is expected to open in early 2022. MHK Architecture and Planning will lead the building design and Stevens Construction will serve as the general contractor.
“There’s a strong market for luxury furnishings and interior design in Sarasota, and the timing couldn’t be more perfect with the number of people moving to this region,” Lubner says in the release.
The Sarasota team will include Senior Manager Rick Clarey, who has more than 30 years of managerial experience. The new location will provide jobs for 20 designers and 35 positions in management and administrative support.
The company has a flagship location in Naples and a showroom in Boca Raton.
