SARASOTA — It was recently announced that George Furlong is the new chief strategic officer at accūrō Solutions.
He has previous experience in workers compensation and managed care to the new medical bill review and provider payment technology company. In his new role, Furlong works with accūrō Solutions’ other leaders and clients to improve how medical payments are managed.
“We will focus on integrating with clients’ processes and claims systems to fully utilize medical and claim data to drive improvements and outcomes for our clients and improve efficiency for all stakeholders,” Furlong says in a press release.
The company, based in Sarasota, provides bill processing technology and services to drive the workflow from the mailroom, through medical bill review and provider payment for companies in the property and casualty insurance industry.
“George’s vast understanding of data analytics and predictive modeling and his more than 20 years of finance and operations are incredibly valuable as we help clients maximize this innovative technology developed just for the property and casualty industry,” says chairman and CEO Kenneth Hannigan.
