CLEARWATER —A house on Mandalay Point sold for $10.5 million after a single day on the market, making it the highest priced home to sell in Pinellas County so far this year.

Coldwell Banker Realty handled the sale of the Clearwater Beach house with Leslie Gerlach of The Thorn Collection as the agent, according to a press release. Gerlach has sold three other homes on Mandalay Point.

Terry Tillung, with Coldwell Banker’s Tillung Tampa Bay, represented the buyer.

The house is at 1150 Mandalay Point, an exclusive, gated enclave at the far north end of Clearwater Beach, just south of Caladesi Island Park.

The 3,330-square foot home, with views of the Gulf of Mexico — and direct access to the beach — on one side and the waters off Red Fish Point on the other, has four bedrooms and five full bathrooms. It includes a pool deck looking over the Gulf and a private boat dock. The home, which went under contract in a day, was built in 1949.

It was previously owned by Tampa-based Beach Investment Group LLC.
