Suncoast Credit Union — the largest credit union in Florida, with $14 billion in assets — seeks to fill more than 100 service and call center positions in the region.

The Tampa-based credit union is scheduled to host two job fairs next week, one in Fort Myers, on July 26, and one in Tampa, on July 27. The Fort Myers job fair will take place from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Suncoast Metro Campus, 4315 Metro Parkway, Fort Myers. The Tampa fair will take place from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Suncoast Tampa Campus, 6536 East Hillsborough Ave., Tampa.

Job fair attendees will meet face-to-face with hiring managers and should bring multiple copies of their resumes, according to a statement, because job offers may be made on the spot. Those hired at the job fair events will qualify for a $500 signing bonus, with the opportunity to earn an additional $250 through the credit union’s referral program, for a potential total of $750 in sign-on bonuses, the credit union says in the statement.

“Suncoast offers a variety of career opportunities in the financial services sector, as well as roles from technology to customer service, that make running Florida’s largest credit union possible,” says Suncoast President and CEO Kevin Johnson, who started his career at Suncoast in 1985. “People who care about others and improving the financial lives of members will have endless opportunities at Suncoast. It did for me and certainly could for you as well. Our next CEO could be out there, waiting to be hired.”

Suncoast employs more than 2,000 team members, who serve more than 960,000 members through 74 branches in 40 Florida counties. Suncoast is the 10th largest credit union in the United States based on membership and assets. It was chartered in 1934 as Hillsborough County Teachers Credit Union.
