Commercial brokerage names new executive director

Lane Boy has been with Cushman & Wakefield | Commercial Property Southwest Florida since 2017.

FORT MYERS — Cushman & Wakefield | Commercial Property Southwest Florida has expanded its leadership team, naming Lane Boy Executive Director-Brokerage.

As Executive Director-Brokerage, Boy will serve on CPSWFL’s four-person leadership team, which guides the organization’s strategic initiatives and direction, according to a statement. He will also oversee brokerage education, training and reporting, and will set and benchmark broker goals.

“Lane is more than just a consistent performer as a broker. He’s also an experienced leader,” CPSWFL Principal Broker and CEO Gary Tasman says in the release. “His expert knowledge of Southwest Florida’s commercial real estate landscape and his leadership skills make him an outstanding model for our brokers to follow.”

A native-born Floridian, Boy has more than two decades of experience in real estate-related industries, the release states. He joined CPSWFL in 2017. Prior that he was CEO of a real estate publishing magazine and founded and ran a printing and graphics company in Australia.

Boy holds the Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM) designation and specializes in land brokerage. He is also a member of Cushman & Wakefield’s National Land Practice Group.

Cushman & Wakefield | Commercial Property Southwest Florida LLC is a locally owned and operated member of the Cushman & Wakefield global alliance. In the 2021 second quarter the firm brokered $113.93 million in aggregate sales volume, in addition to completing lease agreements totaling more than $7.39 million.
