FORT MYERS — CFS Roofing Services has expanded into the Sarasota-Manatee region by acquiring Shewski Roofing.
Dave and Linda Shewski, who founded Sarasota-based Shewski roofing 37 years ago, retired earlier in July after selling their office location along with its assets to CFS Roofing Services, according to a statement. The purchase included the real estate, a half-acre with warehouse and office space, along with equipment and materials. Financial terms of the deal weren’t disclosed.
“We have been looking for a Sarasota County location for the last few years,” CFS Roofing Services President David Crowther says in the statement. “When I heard that Dave Shewski was contemplating retirement, this presented an excellent opportunity. I was thrilled we could reach an agreement to purchase an existing operation that included the real estate and with the prospect of retaining an existing office and field team.”
Elvin Esquilin, operations manager for the Sarasota location, is eager to help lead the transition of Shewski Roofing to CFS Roofing Services. “The Shewski team has exceptional talent and craftsmen working for them and I was thrilled that staff and crews were excited to join the CFS Roofing Services Team,” he says.
CFS Roofing Services is a full-service licensed and insured roofing contractor with a full-service sheet metal fabrication facility. CFS Roofing serves both commercial and residential, private and public clients with re-roof and new construction projects as well as providing turnkey roofing repair and maintenance services. Founded in 2010, the firm posted $30 million in revenue in 2019.
