RV firm adds to portfolio with acquisition

Acquisition is expected to be finalized within 30 to 60 days.

TAMPA — Lazydays Holdings, one of the largest RV dealers in the country, has signed a letter of intent to acquire Sprad's RV, in Reno, Nevada. Terms of the deal weren’t disclosed.

Sprad's RV, according to a statement, has a strong presence in the rapidly growing Reno market. Sprad's selection of RV brands included Grand Design, Thor, Forest River and Lance. The acquisition is expected to be finalized within 30 to 60 days, the release states.

"We are extremely pleased to announce our intent to acquire Sprad's RV as we continue to execute our geographic expansion strategy," Lazydays Chairman and CEO William Murnane says in the statement. "Sprad's has served the rapidly growing northern Nevada market for over 15 years and is well positioned for significant growth. Patrick and Laura West have built an outstanding organization and a very well run operation.”

Founded in 1976, Lazydays reported gross revenue of $608.19 million in 2019.

Home of the world's largest recreational dealership, based on 126 acres outside of Tampa, Lazydays has dealerships located at The Villages, Tucson and Phoenix, Ariz.; Minneapolis; Knoxville, Tenn.; and Loveland and Denver, Colo. Lazydays also has a dedicated service center location near Houston.
