NAPLES — The Naples Airport Authority named Justin Lobb deputy director of aviation.

Lobb will oversee the fixed-base operation, airport operations, security, maintenance, planning and development activities at Naples Airport, according to a statement. A newly created position, Lobb will report directly to Executive Director Chris Rozansky.

“We are excited to add Justin’s expertise and forward thinking to this newly created role,” Rozansky says in the release. “Justin brings the right skillset and will be a tremendous asset to the airport and community.”

Lobb was most recently executive manager for the Collier County Airport Authority, the release states, where he oversaw the Marco Island, Everglades and Immokalee airports. Previously, he worked at the Sanford Airport Authority and AVCON Inc. Lobb has a bachelor’s degree in aviation management from the Florida Institute of Technology and a MBA from Florida Gulf Coast University.

Naples Airport serviced 104,479 annual operations in the last fiscal year and is home to flight schools, air charter operators, car rental agencies and corporate aviation and non-aviation businesses. All funds used for the airport’s operation, maintenance and improvements are generated from activities at the airport or federal and state grants from aviation-related user fees.
