Area nonprofit exec takes leadership role at office cleaning firm

FORT MYERS — Office Pride of SWFL, a janitorial and office cleaning services firm, named longtime area entrepreneur and nonprofit executive Trent Howe director of operations.

Howe will be responsible for directing the continuing growth of the company, according to a statement, including sales and day to day operations. He will also bring his years of operational and sales experience to fine tune the processes of the fast-growing, Fort Myers-based business, the release adds. 

For the past 8 years Howe was the executive director for the March of Dimes, where he oversaw fundraising and volunteers, among other roles. Prior to that he was operations manager for Gulf Coast Coins & Jewelry and New Code Windows & Doors, both in Fort Myers, according to his LinkedIn page. He also ran his own real estate investment firm, Howe To LLC.  

Office Pride has more than 130 commercial cleaning franchises nationwide.
