CLEARWATER — AmeriLife Group LLC has named Kiersten Burstiner to the newly created job of chief human resources officer within the Clearwater-based annuity, life and health insurance firm.

In that role, Burstiner will be part of the company’s executive leadership team at its corporate headquarters and report to AmeriLife Chairman and CEO Scott Perry, according to a statement.

“AmeriLife has grown at a rapid pace over the last 12 months, and we’re not about to slow down,” says Perry in the release.“Our organization is in a place now that requires us to have executives at the leadership level who can ensure we will seamlessly scale our operations while maintaining our strong culture. We’ve found that leadership with Kiersten.”

As chief human resources officer, Burstiner will oversee all talent acquisition, employee engagement and development, the company’s total rewards programs, change management and organizational development.

Burstiner joins AmeriLife with 20 years of experience in human resources, mostly with Deloitte Consulting’s U.S. Industry & Enabling Area. Most recently, she worked as U.S. Global Chief of Staff.

“AmeriLife is an impressive organization, and it has a talented and dedicated employee base,” Burstiner says in the statement.

AmeriLife maintains a distribution network of over 200,000 insurance agents and advisors and works with 35 marketing organizations and has nearly 60 insurance agency locations. It did around $300 million in sales in 2019.
